OWNER

Ryan is an ASE Master Certified Technician and holds the following ASE Advanced Level Certifications (L1- Advanced Vehicle Diagnostics, L3- Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Diagnostics, X1 Under-Car Specialist, and C1 Service Consultant). He was born and raised in Fruitland and studied automotive technology and business at Brigham Young University-Idaho. He started Modern Auto Service in 2016 to fill a need in Fruitland and has based the business on improving the customer exerience in a repair shop. He is married to his high-school sweetheart, Juanee Baxter, and they have 5 awesome kids: Sunny, Ila, Joe, Jack, & Andi. Ryan is a founding board member of the Fruitland Chamber of Commerce, and is passionate about making his community a great place for his family and others.

KEVIN BERGQUIST

MANAGER

Kevin is an ASE Master Certified Technician and holds the following ASE Advanced Level Certifications. He was born and raised in Weiser, Idaho. After high school, he served a 2-year mission for his church in Guatemala and learned to speak Spanish fluently. He graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a degree in Automotive Service Engineering. During college, he interned with Ford Motor Company, providing diagnostic support for dealerships. Kevin moved back to the area in 2019 and started working as a technician at Modern Auto Service. In 2021, he transitioned into the office and worked as a service advisor and continued to take on more responsibilities as a leader in the shop. Kevin is married to Amber Bergquist, and they have three boys: Jensen, Westin, and Dax.
